Local info & links

Local information

Caledonian ward is at the western edge of the London borough of Islington and stretches from Market Road in the north to Pentonville Road in the south. The western boundary is York Way, the eastern boundary goes down Ford Road, Hemingford Road and Calshot Street.

Team Cally operates across the whole ward but the main focus is on the area between Regent’s Canal to the south, and Offord Road/Caledonian Road & Barnsbury station (to the north). We are situated in Earlsferry Way on the Bemerton Estate, adjacent to Bemerton Children’s Centre and Jean Stokes Community Hall.

More than 14,000 people live in the ward and we are proud of our neighbourhood. Many families have lived here for generations and feel loyal towards the area. We have excellent transport links – to the rest of London, and beyond from King’s Cross station. We’ve got some great green spaces and beautiful period buildings.
